KITCHENAID COMMERCIAL SHOWCASES EXPANDING PRODUCT LINE FOR CHEFS AND BAKERS AT 2015 NAFEM SHOW

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (February 2, 2015) – KitchenAid Commercial plans to showcase its new 0.5HP¹ immersion blenders and other foodservice appliances at the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) Show in Anaheim, Calif., Feb. 19 to 21 (booth #6047). The iconic 8-quart, NSF certified stand mixer is already a staple in commercial kitchens, and the company continues to expandits offerings to meet the needs of chefs and bakers alike. Attendees have the opportunity to experience KitchenAid Commercial and its products through live demonstrations, along with a chance to enter to win an 8-quart stand mixer.

KitchenAid Commercial’s new immersion blender is the most recent addition to the commercial-grade line, and is available in three dishwasher-safe blender arm sizes (8, 10 and 12 inches) with two speeds for added versatility. The immersion blender with its multipurpose "S" blade helps chefs and bakers blend, purée, chop or mince ingredients with ease and efficiency. The 12-inch blender arm is ideal for deeper bowls and larger batches of up to approximately 10 gallons/40 quarts, and the powerful 0.5HP motor makes blending through tougher ingredients a breeze.

EFFICIENT POWERCORE® TECHNOLOGY

The 8-quart commercial stand mixer’s 1.3HP² motor is powerful enough to handle more than 8 pounds of dough. Its PowerCore® technology delivers consistent power with less heat buildup for long-lasting performance, enabling chefs to deal with recipes that require longer mixing, kneading and whipping times. It’s now available in a model that has a stainless steel bowl guard for operator safety.

McClure spearheads commercial line expansion
CHICAGO (May 16, 2014) – KitchenAid Small Appliances has appointed Jeff McClure as its new global director for the commercial category. In this new role, McClure is tasked with creating and implementing the go-to-market strategy and execution of commercial small appliances across all categories globally, building on the company’s heritage to arm chefs and bakers with powerful commercial-grade products.

McClure brings more than 20 years of marketing and sales expertise to KitchenAid Commercial. He previously served as director of sales, the top sales role at KitchenAid, selling and promoting KitchenAid small appliances to many channels of trade. McClure was responsible for leading several market-changing initiatives, including MAP policy development and execution, product and channel strategy, retail store and online merchandising projects, and several product and pricing initiatives.
